Zone 0 covers the areas inside the bath or shower tray.

Lights for bathroom zone 0. Why do bathroom lights have an ip rating. Any fitting used in this zone must be low voltage max 12v and be rated at least ip67 which is total immersion proof.
If you decide to illuminate this area the fittings must be low voltage and must have a minimum rating of ip67 making them immersion proof.
