But should they have a place in the bedroom and how do they impact sleeping. My concern is whether the fact that plants release carbon dioxide not oxygen at night and use oxgen at night would significantly enough compromise the breathing air in a bedroom while a person is trying to sleep.

Some are beneficial and are known to clean the air and give off oxygen.



Plants in bedroom harmful. Plants are treewood energy. The reason for this argument is that during the photosynthesis process plant take in carbon dioxide co 2 and emit oxygen but because plants require light to photosynthesize at night the process reverses and plants take in oxygen while emitting carbon dioxide. The snake plant may have a less than attractive common name but its a winner in low maintenance situations.



However they release carbon dioxide at night possibly robbing the room of fresh air. I remember hearing that having plants in your bedroom or at least at night was dangerous. On the other side feng shui experts state that plants are not suitable for the bedroom because they produce energy that contradicts your sleep.



Also not all plants release carbon dioxide at night. Every time we post a picture on instagram of a beautiful bedroom filled with plants we get some concerned comments from people that believe sleeping in a bedroom with plants is not healthywe dont agree with them and here is why. There appears to be a divergence of views on the subject of whether plants in a bedroom are helpful or harmful to a persons health.



Silvery striations cover the green swordlike leaves that stand at attention making it a perfect plant for a vertical corner focal point in the bedroom. Some people believe it may be harmful because plants may respire as humans do emitting carbon dioxide at night as a reverse response to photosynthesis but humans and our furry friends produce. Wow how tragic of me haha truth or myth.



While many plants release carbon dioxide not oxygen at night having a few plants in the bedroom will not release enough carbon dioxide to be harmful at all. Whether plants are suitable for the bedroom is a hotly debated topic. Houseplants are not only aesthetically pleasing giving a touch of color to otherwise drab offices or houses they also com.



Because plants compete for oxygen while you sleep eventually causing you to suffocate to death. Is it good to have plants in your bedroom. Plants respire as humans do emitting carbon dioxide at night as a reverse response to photosynthesis and converting carbon dioxide to oxygen during the day.



On one side some of us say that plants have a rightful place in the bedroom because they produce oxygen. Some still release oxygen even when they are not in the process of photosynthesis. There is an ongoing debate whether its a good idea to keep plants in your bedroom.



What about the soil and the microbes in the soil. Indoor house plants look good and serve a purpose they clean the air. Despite the positive benefits indoor plants provide theres a divide in opinion when it comes to keeping plants in the bedroom.



Here are some explanations that i found. On the plus side plants generate oxygen can smell sweet and promote happiness.
