Unscrew the pivot nut on the drain body insert the horizontal rod through the hole in the stopper and replace the nut. Place a container beneath it to catch any residual water. Detach the sink plumbing and water supply.

Be careful to keep the heat away from the wall and other flammable objects. Use a wrench to disconnect the lines at the spigot. Install the old faucet and drain on the new sink.



A small amount of water may leak out when you do this which is normal. Push the horizontal rod down and secure the lift rod to the strap with the screw. Remove the old sink if necessary.



Be sure to apply a bead of silicone caulk to the faucet and drain base. Before replacing the drop in bathroom sink it is also important to drain the water in the supply lines. To install a new sink you should seal the hardware.



The water will automatically flow out.
